Dear Editor, Harry's Blessings in a Backpack - we provide food for elementary students in the Bristow area and community each week during the school year. Food for the weekend because many of our students are food insecure. Have you ever been hungry but had no money or resources to access food?

National Day of Prayer

We believe that the greatest outcomes for our community begin with prayer. These were words that were shared with you back in March of this year as the Bristow Ministerial Alliance hosted its first citywide prayer event.

Thinking Out Loud

Love and life are funny things that often bewilder us, creating feelings within our body that are not really caused by any physical injury. Heartbreak is a good example. Heartbreak is not a pain caused by a physical injury, but is an emotionally generated pain to the heart.

When a baby comes home from the hospital, he or she is not given chores to do. They are not expected to clean their nursery or empty the trash, but as that baby grows and develops, we believe they should accept some limited responsibilities as we give them chores to do.
