Somewhere in the early 1900s, Mahatma Gandhi set a goal for himself. He wanted to gain political freedom for his native India and led his people in their quest for freedom for over three decades until it was granted in 1947.

The first schools were established in the thirteen original American colonies during the 1600s. The textbook was the Bible until 1963!The Bible has been attacked because people see false “Christians.” Some think it is divisive and radical because they don’t witness the truth.

Thinking Out Loud

Normal people blush, but the Scriptures charge that the people of God in the days of Jeremiah somehow forgot how to blush. They were so perverted in their thinking that things did not seem right or wrong to them. They called evil good, and good evil.

Westview Boys’ Home Visits Depew

Depew church of Christ families recently hosted several boys from the Westview Boys’ Home in southwest Oklahoma. A married couple or house parents drove them to one church family’s home.They arrived on Saturday afternoon, enjoyed a great dinner, and stayed the night with that family.

Family Discussions

Samantha loved watching her cats play. They ran with each other, and tackled each other, honing their skills. But Sadie seemed to always be set upon by both Lucy and Tom. Lucy was the “alpha” or oldest of the three. Tom was a male younger than Sadie and he was always pouncing and jumping on Sadie.
