Who Is the Reason for the Season?

Many great people have passed through this world. Some were a benefit to humanity, discovering medical advances. Others helped secure freedom for our country. A few U.S. Presidents are honored on their birthdays.

But the greatest person in history didn't live in a mansion. He was poor and hated by religious leaders. Many people were finally influenced to kill Him. He was King, but also wanted to be their Lord and Savior.

Most nations celebrate His birth because of what He does for them. He conquered death for all. He can heal all people of the worst human problem: sin!

All who truly know Him also respect His Name, which is above every name. He makes life worth living every day! Yet,He is rejected by many. He can rescue you from eternal death. Only through His death can you have life!

The Bible calls Him “the Word,” ”the Son of God.” His birth name means “God with us.”

Jesus is your only hope! Please, search your own Bible to learn about all He has done for you.

The Heavenly Father sent His Son for you to be freed from your sins and spend eternity in heaven.

Jesus died the most agonizing, torturous, and cruel death so you can live. The innocent gave His life for the guilty. He alone takes away your sins, having nailed them all to the cross.

The Scriptures were written for you to know who He is and all that He has done for you. He did that so you “might have hope” (Romans 15:4).

James reminds us, “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months”( James 5:17). God saved Noah, He rescued Gideon, and gave assurance to Elijah. God still works in the lives of people today.
