A Christian was having a conversation with his long-time friend. They were talking about the reality of Jesus and the actuality of the devil.

The Christian explained that “Jesus came to rescue you from the schemes of the devil.” The apostle Paul wrote,“so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes” (2 Corinthians 2:11).

“For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false” (2 Thessalonians 2:11).

The Christian’s friend said, “I don’t believe in hell or the devil, but I DO believe in Jesus and heaven.”

The devil wants to ruin your life, to make you hurt and fail, so you lose heaven. You will find the truth about Jesus in the Bible. This is the only reliable source containing the truth about both Jesus and the devil.

Paul wrote, “Satan disguises himself as an angel of light…his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15).

You can read, “But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one” (2 Thessalonians 3:3). Do you want to be strengthened by God?

Can you accept one part of reliable Bible teaching about Jesus and reject the negative part of truth from the same source? That isn’t intellectually honest, nor is it eternally safe!

The devil doesn’t want you to believe that Jesus is Lord and Savior! Scripture warns against believing false teachings. They may sound good, but they are not from God and will only lead you to eternal destruction (Philippians 3:18-19). What are you doing about it?

Do you search the Bible for answers to real Spiritual living?

When you turn to the Lord, He will keep you safely in His eternal care. Jesus truly does love you! What are you doing about it?

Satan does’t care if you lose your eternity with Jesus. Satan wants you to die believing his lies against God.

Jesus warns, “But because I say the truth, you do not believe Me. Which one of you convicts Me of sin? If I speak truth, why do you not believe Me?” ( John 8:45-46).

Paul once spoke to the Roman governor Festus, who told Paul he was ”insane,” but Paul said, “I am not insane, most excellent Festus”… King Agrippa replied to Paul, “In a short time you are going to persuade me to make a Christian of myself”… “I would wish to God that… not only you, but also all who hear me this day could be like me, except for these chains” (Acts 26:25, 28-29).
