Floye Dale Honeycutt was born on March 25, 1939, in Stigler, to John Everett and Ethel (Brazeal) Honeycutt. He departed this life on Feb. 17, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, devotion, and deep family roots.
On Jan. 25, 1957, Floye married the love of his life, Betty Herring. Together they shared 66 years of marriage, building a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment. Their union was blessed with three sons: Roger, Gary, and Eddie. Floye and Betty remained inseparable until her passing on Nov. 1, 2023.
Floye worked for many years at Page Milk Company, where he retired after a long and dedicated career. A man who found purpose in staying active, he enjoyed working, tending to his cows, and spending time in fellowship with his family. His steady presence, quiet strength, and dependable nature were felt by all who knew him.
He is survived by his three sons: Roger Honeycutt and wife Pat, Gary Honeycutt, and Eddie Honeycutt and wife Kerry; six grandchildren: Tiffany Honeycutt, Roger Honeycutt Jr. and wife Crystal, Tanya Smith and husband Kris, William Honeycutt Jr. and wife Mandy, Brianna Honeycutt, and Beau Honeycutt; and 11 great-grandchildren: Lily Wilson and husband Kegan, Gary Daughtry, Emily Honeycutt, Owen Honeycutt, Kaleb Honeycutt, Masen Honeycutt, Rhys Smith, Kyser Honeycutt, Stevie Honeycutt, Ryder Honeycutt, and Cruse Neal.
Floye was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Betty, six brothers, and six sisters.
