The Route 66 Landmark Renovation Project was begun by the Historical Society to preserve and restore four local, historic landmarks - Town Square, the Frisco Depot, the Frisco water tower, and the Chrysler Tower neon sign. The first priority of these four projects is Town Square since it affects Main Street businesses, travelers, and local citizens daily.

Saturday night, Bristowans of all ages were treated to fun music and a free trip down memory lane during 'A Motown Revue' at the Freeland Center for the Performing Arts. Despite a few challenges with the sound system, attendees clapped, sang along, bobbed their heads, rocked in their seats, and cheered with a few adults and children dancing in place or in the aisles.
