Bristow News hosting Christmas light contest, Light Up Bristow

Body
Bristow News will this year be hosting the Light Up Bristow Christmas Lights Contest. The paper reported in last week's edition that the Bristow Chamber was sponsoring this event, which normally happens each year. This was due to a flyer that had been circulated and posted on social media. The paper later found that this was not an event that was going to be sponsored by the chamber as at this time Bristow does not have an active chamber and the event was not going to take place. Dealing with the effects of this pandemic, the community has had to cancel a lot of its yearly events and feeling that the community needs to have some kind of normality and to help share in the holiday spirit, the Bristow News decided to step in and host the contest.
