A two-part storm is set to deliver back-to-back hits of wintry messes to the central United States this week, seeing 2020 to the door with slippery roads and hazardous conditions. As the first part of the double-barreled storm with snow and ice spreads its win try mix and travel disruptions across the north-central U.S.

Dolese: December 22. Elevation normal, water 42 and murky. Rainbow trout good on PowerBait along the dam, inlet and shorelines. Bite is better on overcast days. PowerBait colors this week are chartreuse and yellow. Try small minnows and red wigglers for the larger trout.

David Imwalle, a Bristow High School Math teacher, was named News of 6, Teacher of the Day for Monday, Dec. 28. The person who nominated Imwalle says he always dresses up for Spirit Day and comes to all the things kids participate in and it really shows he cares about his students.
