Bristow Middle School teacher, Forrest Brandt, contacted the Tulsa Historical Society about their portable exhibit covering the Tulsa Race Massacre that occurred on June 1, 1921. The exhibit was delivered to Bristow Middle School and available March 1 - 4. Over 400 students and staff were able to view the exhibit. On April 6, 2021, registered voters will take to the polls to cast their votes on several ballot items. The Creek County Commissioner seat for District 3 Republican, unexpired term is on the ballot.

This week, we meet Tanya Stice, loving and committed friend of the community. Born and raised in Kansas, she always dreamt of being a farm girl, living a self-sustaining life on her own farm. As an adult, she lived in Colorado until she met the man of her dreams, Vernon Stice, and moved to Bristow to build a life with him seven years ago.
