Oklahoma Beef Council looking for Oklahoma's best beef burger

To celebrate National Beef Burger day on May28, the Oklahoma Beef Council is launching a promotion on Instagram. Theyare asking their fans to post a picture of their favorite beef burgerusing the #OklaBestBeefBurger. The burgers can be cooked at home orpurchased at a local restaurant.The contest will begin on May 13, 2021 and run through May 28, 2021. The Oklahoma Beef Council will randomly select five posts that use#OklaBest- BeefBurger and tag @OklahomaBeef and the posters will receive a$100 gift card."May Beef Month is the perfect time to fire up the grill or spend sometime on the patio of your favorite restaurant. And there's nothing betterthan a beef burger on awarm spring day," said Nikki Snider, OBC director of marketing andcommunications. For all those ready for summer, fresh garden foods, and outdoor events, the return of farmers’ markets satisfies and excites. In recent years, the Bristow Historical Society built the Bristow Farmers’ Market, providing local access to fresh, farm-grown foods and functioning as an additional fundraiser. While the local market is returning this year, it is being made anew.
