Central Tech is Victorious at State Leadership and Skills Conference

Central Tech attended the SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference, which took place at the Cox Business Convention Center located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, from April 21-23, 2024. Central Tech is excited to share the excellent accomplishments of our students across 38 career competition events, including Job Exhibit – Fantasy Makeup, Motorcycle Service, Advertising Design, and Crime Scene Investigation.

Bristow Holiness Church Construction Passersby traveling in the area of 1st Avenue and South Main Street may have noticed new construction activity in the last couple of months. Bristow Holiness Church, on the southwest corner of the intersection, demolished its north parking lot and removed the north-facing exterior of the church.

At our meeting at the beginning of the month, 24 members were present and we had a guest speaker. Shirley Gower of Sugar Britches Bakery demonstrated how to decorate cupcakes for our annual Creek County Cupcake wars.
