Wrestlers place at State tournament

Zoey Freeman 125 State Champion First Girl State Champion for Girls. Also voted Outstanding Wrestler for the Tournament in 5A. The Bristow Girl placed 19th out of 43 schools. Boys State Championship Tournament out of 28 schools sending wrestlers to the tournament Bristow placed 7th.

Placing in the tournament was: Javon Freeman 120 4th Freshmen’Kale Fruits 126 4th Freshmen; Hank Powell 4th Junior, Chandler Fortney 3rd Senior and Hayden Yocham 2nd Sophomore.

Others competing at the state tournament Kolson Seachris106, Hudson Claggett 144 and Marley Branscum 285.

The team competed well at the tournament out of the Nine wrestlers at the Tournament 7 of the wrestlers will be back next year.
