Pirates win one, lose one at 4-A Regionals

The Bristow boys’ basketball team played two games last week as part of 4A Regionals. They won their first game against Cushing 44-33. The game started with two steals by Charles Ware. That was followed by a steal by Alex Winter. Then, Stephon Tolon had two steals. In the second quarter, Sutton Titsworth scored a three-pointer. Then, Tolon had a block. During the third quarter, Winter had a block. In the fourth quarter, Winter got his second block of the game. Afterward, Stephon Tolon had a block. The Pirates ended the game with 46 rebounds, three assists, six steals, and three blocks.

Their second game was against John Marshall, where they lost 51-48. The game started with steals by Tolon, Cayden McCall, and Titsworth, respectively. In the second quarter, Tolon had another steal. Then, Dusty Campbell got a block. During the fourth quarter, Titsworth scored two three-pointers. Afterward, Ware scored a threepointer. Then, Titsworth scored his third three-pointer of the quarter. The Pirates ended the game with 23 rebounds, 15 assists, 15 steals, and one block.
