It was reported in the Oct. 26, edition of the Bristow News that our local Walmart had been robbed. on Friday, Oct. 20, by two juveniles. Over that weekend, Tulsa Police Department arrested two teenagers, ages 16 and 17, accused of trying to rob another Walmart. The two juveniles are allegedly suspected of robbing several Walmarts going back to the summer.
Using the same methods in each of the robberies, a hooded sweatshirt, masks and a note saying they had a weapon, given to a Walmart clerk, the juveniles robbed a Walmart near Admiral and Sheridan, in Tulsa, and one in Ponca City and of course, the Friday robbery of the Bristow Walmart and are allegedley linked to two or more in OKC.
On Sunday, Oct. 22, they allegedly attempted to rob a Walmart ay 109th and Memorial, in Tulsa. That attempt failed. The juveniles then went to a Walmart in Glenpool. That particular Walmart's security notice the two juveniles, who were casing the estalishment, and called the Glenpool Poice Department. The two juveniles were apprehended and taken into custody. The two juveniles are from MidWest City and police believe there are two or more suspects involved who will be apprehended soon.
