A threat to several Oklahoma school districts caused increased police presence and closure of some schools. Most of the school districts were made aware of the threat late Sunday evening. Law enforcement traced the social media post to the United Kingdom.
Bristow Public Schools was aware of the threat that was affecting multiple schools across Oklahoma and took immediate precautions to safe guard the school. The Bristow Police Department was actively patrolling the schools campuses. The safety of the BPS students and staff if number one priority with both BPS and the Bristow Police Department and that foes for type of threat made against the school, students or staff.
