Fort Gibson: March 10. Elevation is 1.5 ft. above normal and rising, water temperature 55°F and murky. (USACE Lake Level) Crappie fair on hair jigs, minnows, spoons, and tube jigs around brush structure, docks, and main lake. Largemouth bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, jerk baits, lipless baits, and minnows around coves, docks, and rocks. Blue catfish fair on cut bait and shad around channels, main lake, and points. Comments: Crappie can be hit or miss right now. Fish are still holding around 14-16 ft., but they are moving closer to the shoreline. White bass seem to be pre-staging for their spawning run in the main lake. White bass and hybrids are being caught well at times below the dam on bucktail jigs. Black bass are picking up with a lot of fish being caught on jerk baits right now near structure and drop-offs. Paddlefish snagging is slow below the dam but some fish are being caught in the upper end of the lake. Report submitted by Cody Morris, game warden stationed in Wagoner County.

Kaw: March 11. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 58°F and stained. Paddlefish good snagging below the dam and river channel. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, minnows, small lures, and tube jigs around brush structure, creek channels, and standing timber. Keystone: March 10. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 53°F and stained. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure and standing timber. Comments: Crappie are being caught in 5-15 ft. of water.
