(USACE Lake Level) Crappie fair on hair jigs, minnows, spoons, and tube jigs around brush structure, docks, and main lake. Blue catfish good on cut bait, shad around channels, main lake, and points. Grand: February 20. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 50°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) White bass fair on hair jigs, jigs, and small lures below the dam, river channel, and sandbar. Crappie fair on hair jigs, minnows, spoons, and tube jigs. Blue and channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, and shad around main lake and river channel. Report submitted by C. Newkirk, game warden stationed in Delaware County.

Greenleaf: February 25. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 48°F and clear. Largemouth bass good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, jerk baits, and plastic baits around brush structure, docks, points, shorelines, and weed beds. Crappie fair on jigs, minnows, and slabs around brush structure and docks. Blue catfish fair on cut bait and shad around docks, flats, and main lake. Kaw :February 26. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 52°F and stained. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass hybrids and white bass slow on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, hair jigs, lipless baits, live bait, minnows, sassy shad, and tube jigs below the dam, creek channels, and river channel. Blue and channel catfish good on cut bait, goldfish, live bait, live shad, shad, sunfish, and worms below the dam, main lake, river channel, and river mouth. Keystone: February 25. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 50°F and stained. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs, and minnows around brush structure, creek channels, and docks.White bass slow on in-line spinnerbaits, jigs, small lures, and spinnerbaits. Lower Illinois: February 23. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 45°F and clear. Rainbow trout good on caddis flies, inline spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, and PowerBait below the dam. Crappie good on hair jigs, minnows, and tube jigs around brush structure, docks, and main lake. White bass fair on Alabama rigs, jigs, and small lures around channels and flats. Webbers Falls: February 25. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 48°F and stained. Blue catfish good on cut bait, shad, and sunfish around flats, main lake, points, river channel, and tailwater. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around brush structure, coves, points, and shallows. Foss: February 26. Elevation is 0.5 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 49°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Walleye good on jigs and worms around dam and main lake. Striped bass hybrids good in deep water. Crappie fair at 40 ft. deep. Catfish fair on stinkbait or cut bait. Report submitted by Clint Carpenter, game warden stationed in Custer County.

Blue River: February 26. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 58°F and clear. (USGS Lake Level) Rainbow trout good on caddis flies, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, nymphs, small lures, spoons, and worms around brush structure, creek channels, river channel, and rocks. Comments: The early morning bite has been producing a lot more fish than any other part of the day. Report submitted by Ethan Lovelace, biologist at the Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area.

Broken Bow: February 25. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 50°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on crankbaits, flukes, and plastic baits around brush structure, creek channels, main lake, points, and river mouth. Crappie good on hair jigs, jigs, and minnows around brush structure, points, and standing timber. Walleye good on grubs and rogues around points, river channel, and river mouth.
