San Francisco and the Golden Gate

As promised – either your extreme delight, or utmost chagrin – here is the conclusion of my road trip across the Southwest, undertaken with my wife late last month.

As mentioned last week, Wife and I took her little two-seat rag-top roadster on an eight-state, 3,766-mile odyssey to visit Oldest Daughter in Sacramento. After overcoming mechanical failure (times two) and a couple missed turns in the central Sierra Nevadas, we arrived in Sacramento, met our new stepgrandkids and got a little taste of the place Oldest Daughter now lives and works.
