Bristow receives $2,257 in alcoholic beverage tax

At the Monday, July 9 meeting of the Bristow Public Schools Board of Education board members unanimously approved the state mandated teacher pay raise. Director of Instruction Krista Burden, said all the classroom teachers within the district will begin receiving their raise in September. The raise was put in place by the Oklahoma State Legislature, with the passage of HB1010XX during special session in April of this year.

In other business, the board voted to hire Shelley Plum to be the middle school counselor; Christopher Trout as a high school special education teacher; Andra Hickman as a middle school special education teacher and Nita Tallent to be a 12-month custodian.
