Depew appoints Kent to school board

The Depew Public Schools Board of Education met Monday, June 11. The board voted to appoint LaJuan Kent to serve on the school board in seat five. Kent will replace Tony Smith, who stepped down so the district could hire his wife Rhonda Smith, who will teach high school science.

The board received a report from Will Berry with DC Bass on the bond work at Depew Elementary School. He said work is on schedule to be completed by Aug. 14.
