Lady Pirate tennis team takes state academic title

The Bristow High School girls tennis team was recognized as the OSSAA Class 4A girls tennis state academic champions. The award is based on the average GPA of each team member participating in the regional tournament. With an average GPA of 3.983, the Bristow Lady Pirates won the championship over 40 other teams in Class 4A. The team members are senior Haley Jackson, juniors Brooklyn Caldwell and Morgan Looney and freshmen Jada Rowe and Jaden Sargent.
