Area teachers and administrators discuss the prospect of a statewide teacher walkout an April 2

With the Oklahoma Education Association making demands for state legislators to pass a bill that will fund a teacher a pay raise or they will stage a walkout, area school administrators are surveying their teachers to see what they want to do.

Bristow Public Schools Superintendent Curtis Shelton said he has surveyed district teachers to get their feedback and his findings will be presented to the board of education at its meeting Monday, March 12.
