Learned something new!

We were watching this show the other night and it was emphasizing Black History Month. One of the young characters said most white people only discuss the most known people in black history like Martin Luther King, Jr., Rosa Parks or Harriet Tubman.

The character stressed that there are many Black-Americans who have opened doors and have made notable contributions and more about them needs to be known.
