City Council focuses on changes in weekend curfew

Monday’s regular meeting of the Bristow City Council focused primarily on altering the municipal code to change the weekend curfew.

The municipal code currently states “it is unlawful for any minor to remain, wander, stroll or play in any public place on foot or to cruise about without a set destination in any vehicle, about or upon any public place in the city between the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. in the morning on Saturdays and Sundays and between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. on any other day,” with some exceptions for emergency business, legitimate employment, or accompanied by an adult.
