Butterfly garden brightens Bristow Historical Society

The Bristow Historical Society put together a monarch waystation for monarch butterflies that will be passing through Creek County in September and October.

Monarch waystations provide the food and shelter necessary for monarch butterflies to lay eggs and to make their annual migration to Mexico.

The flowers in gardens like the one beside the train depot are specifically designed to be useful for butterflies either as food or shelter.
