Storm shelter open

As advertised, the new Alternative Education Building at Bristow High School is also a FEMA approved storm shelter and it's open for business.

Bristow Public Schools Superintendent Curtis Shelton said the building is now ready for use as a safe haven for the community when severe weather threatens.

“Mickey Hall will be in charge of opening up the shelter when needed,” said Shelton.
