All Dogs Go To Heaven was a popular Disney film. This feel-good story is a dog-lover's delight. Will all dogs go to heaven?

The more crucial question you must consider is this: Will I go to heaven?

Jesus said, “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10).

Jesus broke the power of sin and the devil's hold over sinful people. The cross of Christ Jesus crushed Satan’s head! (Genesis 3:15). He did this for you.

Jesus’ death and resurrection defeated Satan! And “whoever follows His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says that he remains in Him ought, himself also, to walk just as He walked” (1 John 2:5-6).

Jesus met with a Jewish leader one night. You can read about it in John 3: “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. No one has ascended into heaven, except He who descended… For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

“For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. The one who believes in Him is not judged; the one who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

“And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, so that his deeds will not be exposed” ( John 3:3, 5, 13, 15-20).

It’s not wrong to love animals. God created them! But they don’t have the same spiritual need that you have. Jesus came to “seek and to save” you from being lost.

There are many beautiful places and amazing creatures here on earth, but it is you - a person - Jesus is most concerned with. Heaven may have what humans hope for, but the picture of eternity in heaven with Jesus is far better than anything you might imagine! (Hebrews 11:40).

You are invited to be there. What do you hope for after death? In heaven there’s no death, no fear, no pain, no goodbyes, and no sin…. These are not in God’s heavenly home! (Hebrews 11:10; Revelation 21). Do you hope for this?
