After several hiccups, the Bristow Pirate Plunge Pool opened its gates just in time for the first day of Bristow Day Camp. Kids anxiously awaited the first day of camp where they get to enjoy daily outings, crafts, fishing, horseback riding, archery and of course, swim time every day at the Pirate Plunge Pool. A lot of hard work goes into getting things ready for day camp along with getting teen volunteers to help watch over the kids and insure the campers are safe yet enjoy their experience at camp. Campers would like to say thank you to the City of Bristow for allowing them to have camp at the public works building.
The Pirate Plunge pool officially opened its gates to the public on Tuesday. Hours of the pool are Tuesday through Saturday 1 – 6 pm, Sunday 2 – 6 pm and closed on Mondays. The pool staff has worked tirelessly to make sure everything is ready for a safe and fun summer for the community.
