Euleta Mae Shockley Ramsey was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She was called home on Nov. 6, 2024, to the loving arms of Jesus Christ. Euleta was 92 years old and loved her family and serving God.
Euleta was born Oct. 18,1932 to Marion William Shockley and Myrtle Opal Boyd Shockley and became the older sister to Bonita Guinn and Woodrow Shockley. Euleta had a love for God, family, painting, gardening, serving others, and was always active in the church. There was not a day that went by that you did not find her reading her bible or laughing. She had a distinctive giggle, was soft spoken, and always spoke respectfully of others. would be hard pressed to find a woman as Godly as Euleta and when she said that John 3:16 was her favorite bible verse she meant it will all her heart. One of the most important lessons she hoped all her children and grandchildren learned was to depend on God and trust him throughout their lives.
A celebration of life is sheld at 10 a.m. on Saturday Dec.7, 2024, at First Baptist Church, Bristow, Ok 74010.
Euleta is survived by her children, Stephen Wayne Ramsey, David Eugene Ramsey, and Bobby Jay Ramsey. Grandchildren Dawn Ramsey, Heather Steagall, Laura Merriam, Chelsea Deaver, Samantha Ramsey Fike, and Julia Zavala. Great grandchildren BreeAnn Erhardt, Hayley Santos, Liza Merriam, Alice Ramsey, Maddox Merriam, Emmett Ramsey, Warren Fike, Henry Fike, Genesis Deaver, brother Woodrow Shockley, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband Carl Ramsey, great grandson Landon Carl Ramsey, parents Marion Shockley, Opal Shockley, and sister Bonita Guinn.
