A fatality collision occurred Sunday afternoon, Aug. 4, 2024. The accident occurred approximately four miles northeast of Stroud on E 840 Road.
A 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Dustin Webb, age 34, of Stillwater, was driving on E 840 Road. Webb had a passenger on his motorcycle, Jennifer Jackson, age 48, of Perkins. Webb was driving southbound on E 840 approaching a righthand curve at an unsafe speed. He lost control of the motorcycle, crossed the centerline and departed the roadway to the left. The motorcycle rolled approximately 1¾ times landing on its right side. Webb was transported by Miller EMS to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, admitted in fair condition with head and arm injuries. Jackson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
