All BPS put on lockdown due to threat made

On Thursday, all sites of the Bristow Public Schools were put on lock-down due to a theat that was found on the bathroom wall at the middle school.

The Bristow Police Department, along with Bristow Public Schools, worked quickly to assess the situation and determine the next steps to be taken. A large police presence was noticed at each school site most of the afternoon.

The BPD determined that it was not a viable threat and continued to work to keep the kids and staff safe.
