A fatality collision occurred in Creek County. The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m., Sunday morning in the wesbound lane of the Turner Turnpike, five miles east of Stroud. A 2013 Ford F150 , driven by Lawrence Manos, age 74, was traveling westbound on the turnpike when he departed the roadway to the left, striking the center barrier and continued driving approximately 1/10th of a mile against the barrier. The vehicle then crossws all lanes of travel and departed the roadway to the right, continuing through a barbed wire fence, striking a tree causing the vehcile to roll one and a half timesbefore coming to rest on its top. The victim was transported by Creek County EMS to OU Medical Center where medicall staff pronounced him deceased.
