The Board of County Commissioners met Tuesday morning in the commission chambers at the Collins Building, in Sapulpa.
The commissioners discussed action signing a resolution selecting Jarrod Whitehouse as representative for CED #1. Also discussing possible action to consider correcting surplus and disposal resolutions #2022-7 and #2022-7A for Creek County District #3.
The board then considered approving a utility permit request from Consolidated Creek County Rural Water District 3 to cross or parallel to Ozark Trail/Old Hwy 66/TeePee Drive Inn, in District 3.
The board discussed action regarding the American Rescue Plan 2021 funds for purchase of Covid testing kits for the jail and county employees, discussion was made of also using the ARPA funds to supplement employee pay for Creek County employees forced to quarantine due to positive Covid results, along with possible use of the funds for roads and bridges. The commissioners also discussed action on transferring two diesel generators from the Board of County Commissioners inventory to the Emergency Management inventory.
