On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, the Creek County Sheriff's Department received a call of a shooting at 5846 S. 369th West Avenue, Mannford. Dispatch advised the sheriff's department that one person was hit and possibly dead and the name of the alleged suspect, Alan McGee. was given to deputies.
Detectives David Loudermilk and Detective Fred Clark, with Creek County Sheriff's Department, arrived on scene when the observed Christopher (Rudy) Robinson lying on his back with blood coming from his mouth and nose. The detectives asked Jeremy Rose where Alan McGee was and Rose stated he had ran west back behind the house. Deputy Deanna Thomas and the two detectives walked approximately a half a mile west behind the house where they found the alleged defendant walking through a field.
McGee was read his miranda rights and placed into custody. He agreed to talk to detectives. When asked what had happened at the house, McGee stated, “I was trying to be faster than him because I thought he was trying to get something.” When the alleged shooter was asked why he shot the victim, he said he was in the bathroom when he heard something outside. He went outside where he saw Robinson. McGee state he saw Robinson raise something, so he raised his gun and fired, shooting Robinson in the face.
Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene and McGee was booked into Creek County Justice Center.
