“This will be the 27th year for the festival and it has a big economic effect for Okfuskee and surrounding communities,” said Cheryl Graham, Coalition Board Member.
The Woody Guthrie Coalition Board, made of up volunteers, brings Woodyfest to Woody Guthrie’s hometown each year. In order to be able to fund the festival, they hold several fundraisers throughout the year including the dinner concert on Feb. 10.
“We have artists from all across the US come to this festival,” said Graham. “This event gives us a chance to highlight some of our Oklahoma artists. We hope you will come out and enjoy an evening of fun and fellowship.”
