Right Path takes therapy horse to elderly home

The Right Path came to the facility and brought their therapy horse for the residents. This was from a grant from the Bristow Library for LTC.

The Libraries Transforming Communities Grant empowers libraries to build stronger communities by making their services more accessible to underserved groups. The Bristow Public Library was awarded this grant in 2023 to provide services to disabled individuals, and those with autism. BPL is the only LTC Grant recipient using grant funds to address the needs of two groups. BPL was also recently awarded a second year of LTC grant funds to continue their work in this regard. The LTC Grant is made possible by the American Library Association and the Association for Rural and Small Libraries.
