Johnny Gregg Thompson passed away on Wenesday Nov. 8, 2023 at his home in Bristow, after battling cancer.
He is preceded in death by his Mother,Father,Sonnie and Arlie Ray Thompson and Janie Webster.
Johnny was born in Madera, Caifornia on July 11, 1946 to Jimmie Mae (Stephens) Thompson (Wilcher) and Charlie Thompson. He served in our country's military during Vetnam as a mechanic. He worked in the oil field many of his younger years, owned lawndry mat, remodeled buildings and many other jobs throughout his life.
Johnny is survied by his sister Virginia Hulsey, of Stoud, brother David Wilcher and wife Pam, of Depew, his son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Dewayne and Tori Thompson of Bristow and Johnny Thompson Jr., of Bristow. Many cousins, neices and nephews. He is also survived by his best friend, Damon Mosley from Abilene,Texas.
Johnny has four grandchilden, Corey Thompson of Sapalupa, Brandon Thompson of Bristow, Gregorie Gibbs and Jaymison Gibbs of Tulsa. Several great grandchildren - Andrew and Aiden Thompson of Sapulpa, Aurora Thompson of Bristow, Stacy Reba Winskey, and Sirman Davis and Bentley Mattinly all of Kerrville, Texas.
Services will be held on Dec. 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with lunch following at the First Assembly of God Church in Stroud, Oklahoma.
