Billy Ray Shattuck

October 12, 1932 - October 26, 2021

Billy Ray Shattuck was born Oct. 12, 1932, in Bristow, to his parents Frank and Faye Mattox Shattuck. He passed away Oct. 26, 2021, in his home surrounded by his family.

Bill grew up in Bristow with his five siblings and graduated from Bristow High School. He served in the army and did a tour in Korea. In 1956, he married Majel Bolin and they shared 66 years together.

Bill began his career working for Krumme Oil. Later he worked for Halliburton. In 1959, he partnered with his father-in-law, Dub Bolin, and opened what was to become Bolin Ford, Inc. for more than 50 years.

A member of Oklahoma and Texas Cattle Raisers Association, he operated and raised cattle on the 5S Ranch. He loved the outdoors and loved sharing his ranch with his family.

He was survived by his wife, Majel, three daughters, Kathy Wisotsky and husband Steve, Melanie Killian and husband Peter, and Billye Klaus and husband Kelly; his grandchildren Majel Wisotsky, Emerson Wisotsky and wife Haleigh, Laura Killian, Emily Ramsey andhusband Preston Ramsey, and three great grandchildren, JP Ramsey, Wyatt Wisotsky, and Jace Ramsey. Also, he is survived by his sister Sylvia Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Faye Shattuck, and his siblings Hazel Earnhardt, Marie Setser, Donald Shattuck, and Charles Shattuck.

A memorial service will be held on Nov. 6, 2021 at 10:30 am at Venue 66, 116 West 8th St. Bristow, Oklahoma 74010.
