Sharron Lee Loeffler

June 25, 1938 - July 7, 2022

Sharron Lee Loeffler was born on June 25, 1938 at her great grandfather's peach farm in south Tulsa County. She departed this life on July 7, 2022, after an unexpected brief illness. She was the daughter of Richard A. and Cora B. Drullinger. She grew up in Tulsa, graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1956 and had been a resident of Bristow area for the most part since 1962.

A person of many talents in her younger years, including being an accomplished pianist and equestrian. She had a long and varied career, working for Dowell, North American Rockwell, Creek County Court Clerk's Office and as Court Reporter for Judge Charles S. Woodson. Later she worked as a legal assistant for Loeffler, Allen and Ham with her husband and her son and a number of other lawyers in Creek County that she cherished, such as Mike Jones.

She also owned several businesses, most notably The Tulsa Blossom Shoppe for many years.

She had beautiful auburn hair when she was younger, with the wit, tenacity and temperament to match. She was trusting and generous to a fault, but you only dared get crossways with her once. She firmly believed everyone should work hard every day regardless of their station in life, and at age 84 she was still working as a part time legal assistant for her friend, Dana Barnett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepson Rusty Loeffler and her beloved husband, David H. Loeffler, Sr.

A devoted wife, sister, mother and grandmother, she is also survived by sisters Carolyn McKinley, Owasso and Cindy Whitaker, Tulsa; children Pauli Loeffler, Edmond; and Mike Loeffler and wife Stacy, Bristow, and grandchildren Alex Gambill and wife Genevieve, Portland, Oregon; Robert Gambill and wife Shan Shan,Tulsa; Hunter Gambill and wife Anna, Tulsa; Greg Loeffler, Oxford, U.K.; Trevor Walker, Oklahoma City; Dr. Holly Loeffler, Washington, D.C.; Audrey Walker, Felixstowe, U.K,; Zach Walker, Portland, Ore. Her great grandchildren are Luke Gambill, Gillian Gambill, River Gambill and Alex Gambill.

The family asks in lieu of flowers or gifts, that memorials be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in Oklahoma City. A non- religious internment service was held on July 14 at 10 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery at Admiral and Yale in Tulsa.

A casual celebration of life ceremony will be held at the Bristow Country Club on August 20 from 4-7 p.m. All who knew Sharron are welcome to attend. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Michael's Funeral Home of Bristow.
